The CompassX HD PTZ USB Camera with 10x Optical Zoom offers HD video over USB 2.0 and features a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor with 1920 x 1080 native resolution, offering 300 of pan, 180 of tilt, and a 10x optical zoom range. Video is encoded using the MJPEG format, with video resolutions of 1080p, 720p, and 640 x 480 available at 30fps. The camera, along with PTZ functions, can be controlled using the included IR remote, or via the RS-232 serial port. Up to seven position presets can be stored on the IR remote, with more presets available through RS-232 or from the on-screen application via USB. Both a USB 2.0 and RS-232 cable is included.
